Year 9 DofE Bronze Practice Expedition

Our Year 9 students recently completed their Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) Bronze practice expedition. They navigated a one-day trek, demonstrating solid teamwork and resilience.
he students put their navigation and endurance skills to the test, working together to follow their planned route. They showed that they have been learning from their training sessions, including how to work as a team and support one another on the trail.
It was good to see how each group collaborated to manage the route and overcome challenges. They communicated well and showed determination throughout the day.
"I was really impressed to hear about the positive attitude and teamwork the students showed," said Ms Williamson, Assistant Headteacher. "They did a great job, and I'm looking forward to seeing their successes on their assessed expedition."
We are proud to be able to offer the Bronze award free of charge to our students. It gives them valuable experience and an opportunity to challenge themselves.
This practice expedition was a valuable step for our students to prepare for their assessed expedition. Well done to all the participants for their effort.
