Year 9 Explore Future Pathways at Stoke Sixth Form

Our Year 9 students recently visited Stoke Sixth Form College for an "Aspire Day," getting a real feel for college life as they prepare to make their upcoming options choices. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to look ahead at their next steps, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they handled the experience.

The day was split into three different sessions, giving students a hands-on taster of the subjects and pathways available to them after they finish their time with us. Whether they were exploring new academic interests or diving into practical workshops, the maturity they showed throughout the day was brilliant. They engaged fully with the college staff and asked the kind of thoughtful questions that show they are already thinking seriously about their futures.

For many of our Year 9s, this was a first glimpse into life at a local post-16 provider. It was wonderful to see them so inspired by the environment, and we are already looking forward to seeing many of them go on to study there, or at our other excellent local colleges, in a few years’ time. They represented the Academy with real character and should be very pleased with how they conducted themselves.
