It was the perfect chance to get together and celebrate all the hard work, progress, and positive choices our students have made over the last few weeks. We gave out plenty of prizes, including rewards for those who visited our "PRIDE in my work" table and students who have racked up the most achievement points this term.

However, the biggest cheers of the day were saved for our attendance prize draw, where we gave away iPads to some very deserving winners. Ms. Askey, Assistant Headteacher for Attendance, was delighted with the results, saying:

"Huge congratulations to our winners! Your dedication, consistency, and positive attitude have truly paid off. You should be incredibly proud of this achievement. Excellent attendance supports strong learning habits, builds confidence, and opens the door to future success. Every lesson matters, and being present gives you the best chance to reach your full potential. This giveaway is our way of celebrating the effort it takes to show up every day—whether that means maintaining excellent attendance or working hard to improve it."

It was a fantastic afternoon and a great reminder of what can be achieved when you show up and give your best every day. We hope all our students have a restful half term,  you’ve certainly earned it!
