Scholarship Success
We are thrilled to confirm that six of our Year 11 students have achieved fully funded scholarships to some of the country's most prestigious independent sixth forms.
The students have secured "110% scholarships"—which cover the entirety of their tuition fees alongside boarding and additional school expenses—at top institutions across the UK. This September, Kareem, Sam, Noah, Tayyeba, Rhys, and Cristian will take up their places at destination schools including Wellington College, Dulwich College, Dean Close School, Old Swinford Hospital, and Ellesmere College.
These life-changing opportunities have been achieved through the Academy’s ongoing partnership with the Springboard programme, which helps talented young people access fully funded bursaries and boarding school placements. This latest success brings the total number of Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent students to secure these competitive scholarships to 15 since 2023.
Ms Williamson, who oversees the programme at the Academy, expressed her pride in the students' achievements:
"We are absolutely delighted for our six scholars. To secure a place at schools of this calibre is a remarkable achievement, and it is a direct result of their hard work, talent, and dedication throughout the rigorous application process. Seeing 15 of our students access these incredible opportunities over the last few years is fantastic, and we know they will continue to thrive and excel in their new environments."
The entire Academy community extends its warmest congratulations to Kareem, Sam, Noah, Tayyeba, Rhys, and Cristian as they prepare to take their next academic steps this September.
