Among our star performers are Isha, who achieved six grade 9s, a grade 7, and a Merit; Ramat, who earned five grade 9s, three grade 8s, and a grade 6; and Cristian, who secured nine GCSEs all at grades 9 to 7.

The proportion of our students achieving a grade 5 or above in English has risen from 63.3% in 2025 to an impressive 69.1% this year. Additionally, the number of us securing a grade 4 or above in both English and Maths has jumped by 6.5% since last year.

Our students are now preparing to take their exciting next steps across a vast range of post-16 pathways, progressing onto local colleges, apprenticeships, sixth forms, prestigious boarding schools, and the Army Foundation College.

Our Headteacher, Shane Richardson, said: “We are incredibly proud of what our students have achieved this year. Their results reflect their hard work, determination and the commitment of our staff to helping every young person achieve their potential. The strength of our English results is a particular highlight, alongside the wider improvement we are seeing across the curriculum.”

English has been a real strength, but we are also seeing improvement across the wider curriculum and a significant rise in the number of students securing a standard pass in English and Maths. That combination tells us something important about the direction of the academy: standards are rising, ambition is growing and more young people are leaving Stoke-on-Trent with the qualifications they need to take their next steps. Congratulations to students and the outstanding staff team at Stoke who have supported students every step of the way working very hard on a daily basis.”

In addition to these academic successes, six of our students have gained full 110% scholarships to top boarding schools for sixth form through our link with Royal Springboard.
