I qualified as a teacher in 2009. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of educational settings. My experience has not only enriched my teaching perspective but has also allowed me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and global-minded approach to education.

In 2016, I joined the Coop Academy. Initially, I served as the Head of English, where I had the opportunity to inspire a love for literature and language in my students. As the years unfolded, my passion for education continued to evolve, and in 2020, I was proud to become a part of the senior leadership team at the Coop Academy.

In 2022, I took on the role of Assistant Headteacher, leading teaching, pedagogy, and assessment. This role allowed me to contribute significantly to the school's academic growth and development, all the while strengthening my belief in the power of effective teaching practices to shape young minds.

In 2023 I was appointed as Deputy Headteacher. In this role, my mission is to lead our Academy towards cutting-edge practices, ensuring that our students receive a holistic education that prepares them for the challenges and opportunities of the modern world.

What motivates me to teach is the profound belief that educators have the incredible privilege and responsibility to change students' lives for the better. Witnessing the growth, development, and transformation of young minds, helping them discover their potential, and instilling in them the skills and knowledge they need to thrive – this is the true essence of teaching.
