I joined Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent in 2020 as Head of Modern Foreign Languages, bringing with me a passion for language learning and a strong commitment to student success. Originally from Stoke-on-Trent, I’m proud of my deep-rooted connections to the local community, which continue to shape my work and values in education.

My career began with a degree in language teaching, during which I had the enriching opportunity to spend time in Mexico, further deepening my understanding of cultural and linguistic diversity. I went on to teach in London for several years, taking on a variety of roles that broadened my experience and honed my leadership skills.

In recent years, my focus has shifted to a critical area of school life—attendance. I believe that regular attendance is the foundation for academic achievement, personal growth, and long-term success. Students who are present in school are better equipped to engage with learning, develop positive relationships, and reach their full potential.
