An incredible achievement! Six talented students from Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent have had their writing published in a prestigious anthology by Cambridge University. All of the students, currently in Year 10 and 11, submitted their work to The Litmus, an annual publication by Trinity College, Cambridge. The students received their printed anthologies this week—a truly special moment, seeing their work published by one of the world's most renowned universities.
We're thrilled to announce that this year's Year 11 Prom will be completely free of charge! Our CAS Racing Club travelled to the legendary Aintree racecourse to compete in the latest Greenpower heats, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students. The team arrived with the car they had designed and built as part of their CAS Racing elective.

What a fantastic first day it has been for our new Year 7 students! Today we had the pleasure of welcoming them for their first day of secondary school, and we couldn't be more proud of how they've started their journey with us.

Three students from Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent are off to boarding schools for Sixth Form, including Eton College, having been awarded full scholarships for their KS5 studies.
It was a productive day for our music students as Year 10, along with Year 9s planning to take Music in KS4, participated in a songwriting session with Lucien Moon. The focus of the day was for students to develop their own tracks, using lyrics they had written during the session.
What an electrifying culmination to a project in Music: the Year 9 Battle of the Bands! This fantastic competition unfolded over several weeks, showcasing the incredible talent and hard work of the entire year group. We were so pleased to see many of these gifted musicians planning to continue their musical journey into Key Stage 4, a testament to the dedication put in.
What a truly inspiring afternoon at the launch and signing for Lost in Translation, the fantastic anthology penned by our incredibly talented Year 8 and 9 students! These young writers have been part of the First Story Programme, and their dedication and creativity truly shone through.
What an absolutely fantastic afternoon for the Year 7 football tournament! Over half the year group participated, bringing incredible energy and showcasing brilliant teamwork. Students took charge, forming their own teams and even designing unique logos, which were expertly printed by the Technology department—a huge thank you to them! As a memento of their participation, all students get to keep their football tops. And yes, everyone got an ice cream, too!
