It was a productive day for our music students as Year 10, along with Year 9s planning to take Music in KS4, participated in a songwriting session with Lucien Moon. The focus of the day was for students to develop their own tracks, using lyrics they had written during the session.

What an electrifying culmination to a project in Music: the Year 9 Battle of the Bands! This fantastic competition unfolded over several weeks, showcasing the incredible talent and hard work of the entire year group. We were so pleased to see many of these gifted musicians planning to continue their musical journey into Key Stage 4, a testament to the dedication put in.
What a truly inspiring afternoon at the launch and signing for Lost in Translation, the fantastic anthology penned by our incredibly talented Year 8 and 9 students! These young writers have been part of the First Story Programme, and their dedication and creativity truly shone through.
What an absolutely fantastic afternoon for the Year 7 football tournament! Over half the year group participated, bringing incredible energy and showcasing brilliant teamwork. Students took charge, forming their own teams and even designing unique logos, which were expertly printed by the Technology department—a huge thank you to them! As a memento of their participation, all students get to keep their football tops. And yes, everyone got an ice cream, too!
Last week, a celebration event was held to acknowledge the accomplishments of our Year 9 students from Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent, amongst other academies, who participated in the Co-op Academies Trust's REACH project. This initiative, which is implemented across the Trust, aims to support students in developing key employability skills.
What an incredible achievement for the Stoke City FC U16 Ability Counts side who, with our very own student Reece as one of their captains, emerged victorious at the Premier League Disability Football Festival at West Bromwich Albion on Friday!
Students from Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent took centre stage at the grand finale of the Speak Up Stoke-on-Trent Partnership, held today at the Alton Towers Hotel. The event, themed "The Thrill of the Arts," celebrated the incredible journey and remarkable achievements of the young participants.
What an absolutely spectacular evening we had at our Annual Prize Evening, held this year at the magnificent Regent Theatre! It was a true pleasure to welcome nearly 700 family members, friends, and teachers to celebrate the achievements of our incredible students. The atmosphere was electric, filled with pride and joy as we recognised a wide range of accomplishments.
What an absolutely unforgettable few nights at our Academy as our incredibly talented students brought "Matilda the Musical" to life! The hall was packed to the rafters with enthusiastic families and friends, and they were treated to performances that were nothing short of spectacular.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 8 team who showcased their entrepreneurial flair by reaching the final of the Trust Dragon's Den Competition. Their challenge: to design an innovative in-store activation and competition for Chicken and Mushroom Pot Noodle.
We were incredibly proud to host and run the inaugural Co-op Academies Trust Model UN Conference right here at Co-op Academy Stoke-on-Trent. This landmark event brought together our Year 9 students and participants from Co-op Academy Belle Vue for a day of engaging global diplomacy.
What a truly wonderful evening we had celebrating our Year 11 Prom at Slater's Country Inn. Our students looked absolutely stunning, arriving in their finery and radiating excitement for a night of celebration. We were so incredibly proud to see them enjoy this special milestone.
